This project involved creating a comprehensive soundscape for an animated short film. The brief called for an immersive audio experience that would enhance the emotional journey of the characters while maintaining a subtle, nuanced approach to the sound design.
Working closely with the director, we developed a sonic palette that complemented the visual style, using a combination of organic recordings, synthesized elements, and carefully crafted foley work.
Our sound design process began with extensive field recordings to capture unique atmospheric textures. We recorded in various locations including industrial sites, natural environments, and urban spaces to build a diverse library of source material.
The final mix features over 200 individual sound elements, each carefully placed and processed to create depth and spatial awareness throughout the piece.
